Back at the beginning of Book One, Chapter Eight a reader (Keyo, from the shoutbox) asked…suggested…That Tom should acquire some sort of Power Ranger teleport tech for his overly long blade.

I almost said it then, but I decided to keep it a little bit of a secret, but I knew then that Mark would hook Tom up with that one on his first outing.

You see, tadillen (the metal his sword is made from) has a curious effect on energy, it dampens it and disperses it. Which is fantastic for a Zee fight where your opponent is so skilled that they can put up a shell of energy to block you attacks, tadillen cuts through it like butter. But it sucks because you cannot get a lock on the metal using conventional telemeters and the regular tracking system.

Mark found a rather simple work around for this issue. Mark will pretty consistently find ways of doing things that neither Zog nor Mog would have thought of. Zog because he’s not creative, Mog because he doesn’t think about stuff like this. Mark is the first member of the PKF who’s intellect borders on fictional.

This boy is an effing genius. Hana’s smart. Mark makes her look like a kindergartner.

The problem is all of his ideas are well ahead of Earth’s tech level…Now he’s been released into a candy store with an unlimited, federally funded, budget to do what ever his heart desires.

Mark IS the tech support of this comic and he is REALLY not suited for the field. But he’s a great fighter in his own right and will go wherever Hana goes. So here he is.

Anyhow, to Keyo, if he still reads this little slice of the Internet, here’s the sword-o-port. And it will be well used.

Also, I feel that I should comment on the recent rash of celebrity deaths this weekend. I can’t say that I ever really kept track of Ed Mcmahon Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson or Billy Mays. But my mother called me up when she heard about Jackson and was very sad about his death, which says a lot about the man, considering most celeb deaths don’t phase her…and as for Farrah, it sucks that she had fought cancer for so long only to go out like that, but it was a hell of a fight. Ed? Dude, you MADE Carson. I never even saw the show and knew about you. Mays?…Well…I bought the effing ‘oxiclean’.

And it works.

-Peace

More times than I’ve ever rewrote a comic before.

Seriously, this thing went though half a dozen tweaks so that I could make it as clear as possible and I STILL feel like it’s too wordy and confusing…but…let’s be honest here, it’s still better than half of Book One’s really wordy comics.

First of all, the title of this comic is a play on ‘Those Crazy Zargonians‘ which was Chapter Four of Book One. Also, the COMIC that this comic is directly referencing is #153, right here. See, I’m aloud to contradict a previous comic because Zog and Mog aren’t infallible and Dis ACTUALLY knows what’s going on. It’s nice to write loopholes int stories…you never know when you might need them down the road.

Haha…In all seriousness it’s nice to FINALLY explain just WHAT the Hell Chris is! I’ve been sitting on it since ’06 for Gods’ sake.

Wednesday will have a REAL kick in the balls for Chris though. Seriously. Psyche-Destroying kind of kick in the balls.

And if you find it odd that Tom is less concerned with Dis being a ‘separate entity inside his mind’ than Chris being part of his soul, you have to understand that Tom’s come to grips with the fact that Dis is there, he’s not controllable, and he’s usually helpful (unlike Chris’ vicious self).

I’m not making a HUGE deal out of the revolution that The Power (I’m capitilzing it now, btw) came from a God is because I’m SURE you all guessed this one when Paoken all but STATED it at the end of Book One. But to anyone who’s reading from the start of Book Two will likely find this revelation rather major. Just as Tom does…since…you know…he was unconscious when it was revealed in Book One. Haha

(I just realized that Paoken smoked Ciggarets not Stogies at first…Weird…I always saw him as a Cigar kind of God…)

And how about that ‘Balloon’ Analogy, eh? Dis…Dis is the rubber-band in this instance and Chris is the ‘bubble’…I know, it’s not perfect, but I felt like a visual analogy would help. I hope you feel the same.

Anyhow, any questions feel free to ask (as usual). But I AM really a happy with this one…and I’m even happier with the next one.

-Peace

I thought it would be a good idea to post a little blurb, just introducing myself to the new readers who (hopefully) wander in from The Rebel Yell. Yes, there’s an article about me in my schools interweb paper. Which is all kinds of badass.

EDIT: Check out the link HERE! It’s a damn good read. Oh…and I don’t have any Forum…not yet. But there have been few forum posts about the comic on a few places. Which is just as good. Oh, and yes, there is a real Hana out there…hence the lack of fan service for the character. She’d kick my ass. Haha. GO READ!/Edit

It’s being published today, so I thought I’d write about it before I wandered off to bed. I’ve been in a Journalism class this past semester and by chance I was paired up with the very talented Tifani Tamayo who managed to make me interesting, heh.

So! If you’re new here, like I’m hoping a few of you are, WELCOME! I’d suggest you start in the New Readers page. But what do I know? I just wing it. There’s also the First Comic, which may be another good place to get started.

If you’re not that into comics then go check out The Stories page. Which has a few all-text-tales from my humble little universe. My favorite is probably A Reaper’s Tale, but they’re all interesting.

If you’d like to see some examples of my artieness then check out my Deviant Art Account which houses the filler and sketches I’ve done over the years.

And last, but not least, I’m currently doing a second comic called Hunter which updates Fridays. It’s ‘R’ rated though…but nothing too horrible…just a few F-bombs. Which I’ve not allowed myself to use in The PKF.

There’s actually a bit more comic behind The PKF than what’s on this site. As the New Readers page says there’s a whole book before this one, but I decided to stash it somewhere quiet. I was very happy with it, but it was a little slow to pick up…and honestly you don’t need to know a hell of a lot from it to enjoy the current Book. I did a nice little recap at the start of Book Two.

But if you’re REALLY interested, it’s back at my Old Site. Feel free to check it out.

Stick around if you like what you see. The next chapter is shaping up to be quite spectacular. And if this is your first foray into the world of Webcomics, check out my Links. You may find something to suit your fancy.

-Peace
